1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Scout312 ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Scout312 provides a website builder designed for political campaigns. We offer tools for building, hosting, and managing campaign websites, including content management, donation page integration, volunteer signup forms, and compliance features.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time through the Account Settings page or the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant Scout312 a limited license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to distribute malware, to infringe on the rights of others, or to publish content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise harmful. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Compliance Disclaimer
While Scout312 provides tools to help with campaign compliance (such as paid-for-by disclaimers and treasurer information), you are solely responsible for ensuring your campaign website complies with all applicable federal, state, and local election laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
Scout312 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scout312 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
